Many years ago we were pretty good friends with this other industrial/ noise project and we always talked about doing some kind of collaborative recording someday but tempers flared and things blew up before that ever materialized. I think he even wrote a diss track about us which still kinda cracks me up.

Anyway, a bunch of years have passed and I still think about that collab and wonder what would have happened if we meshed his hypnotically stumbling lo-fi funeral beats with our noise and drones... Wound up having a bunch of time on our hands cos of the recent lockdown so we decided to pick up an MPC-60 and try to make it happen on our own.

Not intended as a "diss" or a reopening of old wounds, just sorta the ghost of what might have been and a meditation on friendships that fell apart.
